The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Business, for the purpose of this Website and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), refers to the Company as the legal entity that collects Consumers' personal information and determines the purposes and means of the processing of Consumers' personal information, or on behalf of which such information is collected and that alone, or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of Consumers' personal information, that does business in the State of California.


Company (also referred to as "the Company,” "We,” "Us," or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to A to Z Psychology LLC, a Limited Liability Company based in the state of Georgia of the United States, located at 5887 Glenridge Drive, Suite 230, Atlanta, GA 30328.


Consumer, for the purpose of this Website and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), means a natural person who is a California resident. A resident, as defined in the law, includes (1) every individual who is in the United States for other than a temporary or transitory purpose, and (2) every individual who is domiciled in the United States but who is outside the United States for a temporary or transitory purpose.


Cookies are small files that are placed on Your computer, mobile device, or any other device by a website, containing the details of Your browsing history on that website among its many uses.


Country refers to the United States.


Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, cellphone, or digital tablet.


Do Not Track (DNT) is a concept that has been promoted by US regulatory authorities, in particular the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), for the internet industry to develop and implement a mechanism for allowing internet users to control the tracking of their online activities across websites.


Non-personal Information (NPI) NPI is information that is in no way personally identifiable.  Some NPI is obtained automatically when You access Our Website with a web browser.  


Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is information that is personally identifiable to You and obtained for Us to provide You with a product or service.  PII may include information such as Your name, e-mail address, physical address, phone number, credit card information, and other information You provide to Us.


Sale, for the purpose of this Website and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), means selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating orally, in writing, or by electronic or other means, a Consumer's personal information to another business or a third-party for monetary or other valuable consideration.

Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. The Company may collect information from You, such as Your name, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number, and reason for requesting services for various reasons, including but not limited to providing You with services and better understanding Your Website usage and trends so that We may improve Our services and Website performance. We may also collect demographic information that is not unique to You,  (e.g., Your age and gender).  Some information provided to Us comes directly from You, such as when You complete an online form on the Website.  Other information comes from observing Your activity on Our Service or through Cookies that We or Our Service Providers may set on Your Device as You navigate through the Website.  Information may also be collected through third-party vendors that We use to provide the Service to You.  

Providing Us with personal information, such as Your name, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number, and reason for requesting services is voluntary, but You may be required to provide certain personal information to Us when You elect to use certain services.  In addition, when You enter Our Website and agree to accept Cookies, some Cookies may contain personal information.    

Reasons We may use Your information includes but is not limited to communicating with You in relation to services You have requested from Us. We also may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future.  Notably, if You disclose personal information through a public message board or on a social media site associated with or linked to the Website or Company, this information may be collected and used by others, and the Company has no control over how it is collected or used.

The Company collects and uses Your personal information to provide You with services.  We may also use Your personal information to inform You about other services We provide and/or are available from Our affiliates.  Once You submit personal information to Us through the Website, it may be discarded or archived.

Protecting the Privacy of Third Parties 

If any submissions You make on Our Website contain information about third parties, You must make sure You have permission to include that information in Your submission.

The Company does not give, rent, or sell its user lists to third parties.  If We contact You to inform You about services or products of other business or companies that We believe may be of interest to You, Your personal information will not be transferred to any third parties.

E-mail Communications

The Company may contact You via e-mail in response to an inquiry from You or for the purpose of providing announcements, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other communication.  We may receive a notification when You open an email from Us or click on a link therein.

Your personal information is processed at the Company's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. If You want to opt-out of unaffiliated third-party disclosures or revoke Your consent for Us to use Your personal information, please send Us an e-mail with Your request.

Right to Delete Your Personal Information

Upon receipt of a verifiable request from You, We can delete Your personal information.  However, We may be unable to comply with requests to delete such information if it is necessary to: (1) complete the transaction for which the information was collected,  (2) fulfill the terms of a written warranty or product recall conducted in accordance with state or federal law, (3) provide a service requested by You or to perform a contract between Us, (4) detect security incidents, (5) protect or prosecute against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, (6)  debug and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality, (7) exercise a right provided for by law, (8) comply with the California Electronic Communications Act, (9) engage in research that adheres to all applicable ethics and privacy laws, or (10) comply with a legal obligation, law, or regulation.

Children’s Privacy

Even though Our Website is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age, We realize that an individual under 18 years of age may attempt to access Our Website.  We have no intent to collect, nor will We ever knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 years of age.  

You acknowledge that we do not verify the age of Our users, nor do We have any liability to do so.  If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your information from a parent, We may require Your parent or legal guardian's consent before We collect and use that information.


Social Media Policy for Site Visitors

We may use social media sites, such as Facebook and Instagram.  The information provided by Us on these platforms is intended for educational purposes only and is not intended to be medical advice and should not be considered as such.  Nor is it intended to replace consultation with a qualified physician or other health care provider.

The opinions and/or views expressed on Our social media platforms are not those necessarily of Us or any of Our affiliates or any of their respective directors, officers, employees, research staff, medical staff, or members of its respective boards. The opinions and views expressed on these pages do not in any way reflect the views of the site they are posted on, other sites affiliated with the site, the staff involved with maintaining the site, or any members of the site. Sale of Personal Information of Minors Under 18 Years of Age

We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18 through Our Service, although certain third-party websites that We link to may do so. These third-party websites have their own terms of use and privacy policies.  We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's internet usage and instruct their children to never provide information on other websites without their permission.

We do not sell the personal information of Consumers.  

If You have reason to believe that a child under the age of 18 has provided Us with personal information, please contact Us with sufficient detail to enable Us to delete that information.

The right to say no to the sale of personal data (opt-out). You have the right to direct Us to not sell Your personal information. To submit an opt-out request please contact Us.

The right to delete personal information. You have the right to request the deletion of Your Personal Data, subject to certain exceptions. Once We receive and confirm Your request, We will delete (and direct Our Service Providers to delete) Your personal information from Our records, unless an exception applies. We may deny Your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for Us or Our Service Providers to:

  • Make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which You provided it.

The right not to be discriminated against. You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of Your consumer's rights, including by:
