Ashlee Zito, PhD, is a licensed psychologist in the Atlanta, Georgia, area. She specializes in providing forensic evaluations for adult legal cases, expert witness testimony, and consultation. She also completes non-forensic clinical assessments for adults.
Dr. Zito is licensed in Georgia and Alabama, and she holds the appropriate PSYPACT authorizations to practice via telepsychology or temporarily in-person in 37 other states.

Forensic Evaluation, Expert Witness Testimony, and Consultation
Forensic evaluations are commonly used to assess an individual’s psychological functioning as it pertains to a legal question or issue. For instance, a forensic evaluation may be necessary if there is a belief that there are psychological mitigating factors associated with a crime, there is a concern that a defendant is not competent to proceed with his or her case, or a defendant wishes to enter a plea of Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI).
